At Home America NOT going out of Business!

Previously I had received a letter from AHA stating that they were in Financial troubles and they would be ending after January. I received a letter this morning from Customer Service reading as follows:

AtHome America is not going out of business. Over the past few weeks, and over the next several weeks, we are going through a transition period. We anticipate our website to be up and running by next week.

I am very Happy to hear this as well as the thousands of consultants who rep for them, Best wishes to AHA and hope they come back better than ever!

Not so Fast Walmart!

So as we all know Walmart always comes out with their brand name of a product that highly resembles another brand name product. Well Walmart has a variation of items from the Candle Company "Scentsy". They offer melts,warmers and Bars. This brand is called "Scent Sational" and resembles Scentsy so much the label on the front of the package states "Not a Scentsy Product" .

Also according to Scentsy they won a lawsuit against the makers of this candle brand.

A Scentsy rep would like to remind us that these candles and warmers to not compare to Scentsy.

-The warmer of "Scent sational" warns of the heat that can build on the warmers unlike Scentsy.

-The Scent does not last and is not as strong

So how do you find the right company that fits into your life and interest level? Research!! It is the only way. Read and don’t be afraid to ask tough questions. Check their policies and procedures and make sure you can live with them. Look for established companies with proven track records. Know your dreams and desires. Look for a company that fits into your lifestyle. If you have a bad back, you probably would not be happy lugging big displays around, but if you love to cook, doing a business that involves food and the kitchen would be a good fit.
